If I should go today
I would not be so sad,
His loving kindness has surrounded me
And what comes will make me glad.
If I should leave the ones I love
It would not change a thing,
Our separation will be temporary
And the mocking birds will sing.
If I should leave before my time
Still twice the life have I,
Then did my father here on earth
Yet no one quite knows why!
Here everything is temporary
Relationships and more,
But there it's everlasting
Something that i long for.
Every man should be so blessed
I often think and pray,
To live the life He gave me
In every single way.
If i should go today
I have had my share of fun,
This life is just the start you know
Of so much more to come!
